50 Years of ICV

Honoured to celebrate 50 years of the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) — a wonderful milestone recognising the people who have helped build a community grounded in respect, understanding and unity.

The evening reflected on ICV’s remarkable journey, acknowledged its dedicated contributors, and I was proud to officially launch their 2025–2028 Reconciliation Action Plan.

We recognised the pioneers who laid the foundations and the leaders who continue to inspire and strengthen Victoria’s Muslim communities today.

My sincere thanks to the ICV leadership, volunteers, staff, community partners and member organisations whose commitment makes this work possible.
