Akitu Festival

It was a joy to celebrate the Chaldean-Babylonian New Year together with colleagues and surrounded by the vibrant Chaldean community.  

The ancient Akitu festival, which is over 7,000 years old, symbolizes renewal and hope. It was wonderful to witness the rich cultural significance of this tradition beautifully brought to life.
