Meeting with the Law Institute of Victoria

It was a pleasure to meet with CEO Adam Awty and General Manager – Policy, Advocacy and Professional Standards Donna Cooper from the Law Institute of Victoria. 

The Law Institute of Victoria represents thousands of dedicated legal practitioners who play a critical role in upholding the rule of law and protecting the rights of Victorians. Their work spans all areas of the legal system, including criminal justice, where fair process, strong advocacy, and access to legal representation are essential. 

I thank the LIV for their continued advocacy and for the vital role they play in supporting both the profession and the broader community.
