It was a pleasure to officially open the new Northern Community Legal Centre (NCLC) office in Wallan, alongside Attorney-General Jaclyn Symes and Lauren Kathage MP (Member for Yan Yean). 

This important expansion means that victims of crime in Mitchell Shire — one of Victoria’s fastest growing regions — will now have local access to vital legal services without the burden of travelling long distances. 

The new office represents a significant step forward in building a justice system rooted in fairness, empathy, and equality — ensuring that more Victorians can get the support they need, closer to home.
