Spotlight on Victoria’s Screen Industry

This Victorian-made survival thriller is set to get pulses racing.

It was a pleasure to visit the set of Thrash during filming at Docklands Studios Melbourne, alongside Minister Colin Brooks.

We met with producers Kevin J. Messick and Scott Lumpkin, as well as members of the Victorian crew, and had the opportunity to see the impressive purpose-built outdoor water tank holding almost two million litres.

Supported by VicScreen, this production showcases the strength of our local screen sector and world-class infrastructure—reinforcing Victoria’s reputation as a global destination for film and television production.

Thrash is now streaming on Netflix.
