World Autism Awareness Day

On World Autism Awareness Day, I want to acknowledge the many organisations providing practical, life-changing support for children and young people on the autism spectrum.
It was a privilege to meet with representatives at Parliament and hear how they support families with the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to navigate diagnosis, development, and daily life.
Early, tailored support is critical. It can make the difference between a young person falling through the cracks and finding the right pathway forward.
I extend my sincere thanks to the teams at Different Journeys, Yellow Ladybugs, Amaze, and Autism Valued for their ongoing work and advocacy.
