Celebrating 50 Years of Blue Light Victoria

6 March 2026 | 1 min read

It was a pleasure to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Blue Light Victoria Inc. at Parliament House this week.

For five decades, Blue Light has created safe spaces and meaningful opportunities for young Victorians—building positive connections and supporting early intervention to improve youth outcomes across our communities. It was particularly powerful to hear from those directly involved in the program and to see firsthand the lasting impact of its work.

I was also pleased to hear from Anthony Carbines, and to acknowledge Chief Commissioner Mike Bush, along with members of Victoria Police, for their continued support of this important initiative.
