Independent Prison Visitor Scheme

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining volunteers from the Independent Prison Visitor Scheme and personally thanking them for the vital role they play in Victoria’s corrections system. 

These dedicated individuals regularly visit prisons across the state, offering a valuable community perspective on how our system is operating and ensuring transparency and accountability. 

A heartfelt thank you to all the committed volunteers who generously give their time, skills, and energy to support people and uphold fairness across our community.
