Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of joining Deputy Premier Ben Carroll MP and Minister for Veterans Natalie Suleyman MP for a meaningful conversation with the legendary Kevin Sheedy AO. 

We discussed ways to enhance support for veterans and their families — a cause close to Sheeds’ heart and to many of us. 

As the Bombers and the Pies prepare for another ANZAC Day blockbuster, it’s fitting to remember that the man who helped create this powerful tradition continues to use his platform to advocate for something bigger than the game.
