Sport has the power to transform lives — and that’s exactly what the Twinning Project, led by Melbourne City FC, is doing. 

This football-focused development program supports people in custody by teaching teamwork, fair play, and essential skills to help prepare them for reintegration into the community, reducing the risk of reoffending. 

I was pleased to visit the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre alongside Juliana Addison MP to congratulate the latest group of women who successfully completed the program. 

The Twinning Project is just one of many initiatives within the Victorian Corrections system dedicated to reducing crime and keeping all Victorians safe.
