It was a pleasure to visit Meli, a vital organisation delivering wraparound services to communities across Geelong and the Barwon communities.  

Joined by local representatives Chris Couzens MP (Member for Geelong) and Ella George MP (Member for Lara), we had the opportunity to hear directly from the dedicated Meli team about their impactful work in youth services. 

In particular, programs like Youth Justice Community Support Services, Youth Justice Group Conference, and The Geelong Project are making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. 

These early intervention and support initiatives are helping young people in Geelong to break the cycle of offending and re-offending, creating stronger, safer communities for everyone.
