Waka Project

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming the NRL and Melbourne Storm to Parliament House to celebrate the Waka Project — a fantastic initiative supporting young Pasifika players both on and off the field. 

It was great to discuss the game’s growing footprint in Victoria and the vital role that sport plays in strengthening our communities with NRL Commissioner Kate Jones. 

The NRL and Melbourne Storm should be commended for championing community-driven sport in our state.
